Amazing elements that were taken in by the guides. I'd go back again to see the engineering of all the pipe fitting! Awe struck by American scientists & engineers.

Great campus to learn. I had an opportunity to visit the synchrotron site, complete with its system and have a conference in the hall. ANL has gym and several Starbucks shops inside.

Attended the Open house this year in May. It was so cool to learn about the super computer - Aurora, the robot lab, and even measuring the thickness of my husband’s hair! The campus is quite large and beautiful. We were particularly impressed with the indoor zen garden as well. Looking forward to nerding out at the next open house!

A beautiful place to work, to get trained or to examine or test new technology. I attended a training program on “ Teaching Nuclear Science and Technology in High School Level” for two weeks in Sep 2018. The laboratory is situated in a quite peaceful places and has occupied a large area. They have many experts of different scientific fields. I found all the staff very professional. They were always happy to answer the questions of their respective profession.

Open house was awesome! We got to see one of a kind equipment doing the most advanced research in the world. The event was family friendly and there were tons of educational activities and well priced food available. We’ll definitely be going back next time!

If you're lucky enough to get on a tour or find a day when they have an open house, then visit this place! It's obviously designed for tours with large observation areas and walls of windows, but security concerns have scaled way back on these. I've been twice and would go again in an instant.

Very cool campus. I was here for the open house and had a great time. Tons of learning opportunities and all the volunteers were excited to talk about their work. It's a surprisingly large area and you have to take buses to get around. I highly recommend the open house.

Never knew we had such an interesting place so close by. Until I started renting out my spare room via Air BnB and hosting guests from all over the world who were working on scientific projects there. I drove a guest there, and was directed by security to a visitor center. The main campus is secured and the public is not allowed in without permission. There's a tour available... which I want to take some time.

Security is definitely strict out here if you have a meeting be sure to get there early as the check in process is very thorough. Also coordinate with you onsite contact to ensure that you go to the correct gate.
